A small victory for herp lovers of Nebraska

Mickey_TLK Nov 18, 2003 10:28 PM

I was just informed today I am no longer breaking the local ordinace by keeping my beloved bci. The old 6 ft law has been rolled back to 8 ft allowing me to no longer live in fear of the local "humaine" society raiding my home and killing my loved boas.

Now hopefully someday they will change the law to allow for true red tails. But you have to crawl before you can walk.

Awesome! I live in a small town over in Iowa, where we live under the same insane legislation. Is it possible to get a copy of the meeting notes, explaining their reasoning for changing the law? Never know, it might be helpful to others in the fight for understanding and tolerance. Glad to hear of your progress! Dave
