Chillers are not cheap. They are not made for small tanks either. We have a couple in the museum. The smallest tank equiped with a chiller is 180 gallons and each unit cost about $1,000 with the shipping. We get ours from Aquatic Ecosystems. (They have a website.)
You could try the old college trick of boring a couple of holes through a small dorm room size fridge. They run your filter line through it. You need to have a lot of extra hose to coil in the fridge to be sure that the water is in there long enough to cool. That may mean that you need a bigger, stronger pump.
Even $1,000 commercial chillers can only pull temps down so far. You can chill a tank to 50 degrees F in a 90 degree room. These are all questions you have to ask when ordering one. There are charts on Aquatic Ecosystems site and catalog.

Well, I have found some for around $300-$400. But I was just curious if anyone had a used one, or knew of someone who does.
there are some that run on pumps, i have seen them online, i think they are around $100. but they aren't very effective, they only lower temps about 2 degrees, i think.
