knobtails

For those of you who have several geckos(knobtails for instance)and you do not want to keep them together, how do you house them. Is there a company where you can buy some kind of rack system. How do you heat individual cages. I guess I could get 10 gallon tanks but is there a more compact way of doing it? Thanks.

Rack systems work well as long as they are deep enough to allow burrowing. I would put a heat tape strip at one end for thermoregulation.

Rack system are the only way to go when you house multiple geckos IMO. I use a deep rubbermaid blanket box for my knobs. Allows for 6" deep sand at one end (for burrowing species) tapering down 2 inches on the hot side. Deep bpxes are also nice to be able to keep crickets in during feeding time.
