Another Male Green question

Rottenweiler9 Nov 19, 2003 01:27 PM

what is the weight on an average adult male green. I have a burm and red tail, and a ball, I have been looking at the yellows condas, there does not seem to be much of a difference in size from what I see. I have read the care sheets one is the humidity, and what about personality. Is it like everything else, it depends on who you get it from and where. Nerd is the only one I see that has sold these.
Thanks again
Jeff

In captivity, between 30 and 50 pounds depending on the actual length of the snake and how well it has been fed. The male owned by Jud McClanahan and used in our breeding projects is unusually large at 11.5 feet and 65 pounds.

I still have a bit of respect for the petstore here, but it amazes me that they INSIST that Yellow males exceed 20 feet whe not even the largest green males can each the 20 foot mark.
