I have not plans to place my monitor to cooler conditions. I'm not keep this bengal long time - only 3 years. Usually temperature in his vivarium is temperature at daytime between 26-35C (79-95F) with "hot spots" 41C (105F). At nighttime 22-24C (71-75F). So I keep throughout the year.
I was only interested, what kind of temperature is lowest, which can normal to that species. I get sometimes calls, where people ask about that, if they would like transport animal. I always say that lower temperature from 22C (71F) is dangerous to health of this lizard. But I listened that some people don't worry when they transport in outdoor their bengals in condition of 10C (50F) and less. I think it's stupid risk. Usually I'm afraid, when in my room (where is vivarium of my bengal) fall at nighttime (in wintertime of course) to 22C (71F)and I set always black heating lamp in his vivarium. That don't disturb bengal to sleep at nighttime but ensure heat.
