Hey gang...my gf and I have been planning on going to this show for some time. We are going to be getting a BRB and are very very excited. Does anyone have any advice on things to ask/look for when picking one out? Should we get a male or female? We wont breed, strictly loving addition to our family. We are also debating between getting a boaphile cage or possibly building our own. Suggestions? Also we are thinking of moss as a substrate...how often will we need to change it? I have owned snakes before, but it has been sometime.....(red tail boa, burmese, albino burmese and canebrake). We have been trying to do lots of research before the show.
Any advice is greatly welcome for first time BRB owners!!!
