Hi-
Veilds are know for there temper. Often when they are defending there territory I.E. you around the cage, in the cage, or removing him from his cage they will jerk there body and or gape fire up at you. This is common at 6 months of age as he becomes sexually mature. I have had my younger pardalis do this, now at over a year old they are pretty much hand tame and love coming out of there cages. Over time it will get better or worse every chameleon has its own personality. If his legs are always shaking, then there is cause for concern. Hope this helps!
