I did a little wieght and length check on Chubba today. I have had her for about a year now. She was a little tiny peanut when I bought her. As of today she is a little over a half pound(229 grams I think it works out to) and is not exactly 10 1/2 inches long overall, head to tail. She eats like a crazy fool so I KNOW she gets plenty of yumm yummms! She get's a nice bowl of greens and veggies every morning, has a little dish of a dry mix and another with dry iguana(t rex) pellets available at all times. She gets miner-al(indoor) cal/d3 sup 2 times a week and rep cal minerals 2 times a month. She is VERY active and is pest free according to the vet, She is a big pest herself though the little brat! LOL!

Chubba! What a cute name. Female malis usually are 11-14" as full grown adults. She must be quite the "chubba" as I have a Saharan Orange male and he is portly at 235 grams and 12". You must be doing everything right! She looks wonderful.

She is a easy Lizard. The easiest reptile I have EVER owned. She is willing to eat anything in my hand. She gets evrything food wise that I know of that is right for her. Salad is usually Turnip greens, dandilion(*sp*)greens and a little collards all mixed up with chopped green beans, whole green peas, little carrot and shreded summer squash. It varries a little depending on what's at the market. Her dry mix is Pretty bird brand finch blend bird sead, dry geen peas/and yellow, lentils and honey bee pollen granules. And she has a little dish of the T-rex dry iguana pellets, the fruit and flower and veggie mixed together. She is just always munching on something in the tank. She actually likes it when there is dried up greens here and there. She loves the crunchy stuff I guess. LOL!
Thanks again.
