My wife, Brenda, was doing one of her first posts on this forum. She has a pair of Madagascar (pictus) geckos. The female has laid 4 eggs (one about every week). They all have started out white. Two of the eggs have developed a pinkish tint. One of the pinkish ones cracked yesterday and today it cracked open all around exposing a dead embryo. The embryo had a formed head and the rest was not developed. Her question on this post was, "do the eggs turn pinkish if is not going to develop or make it?" She's wondering if she should be concerned with the other one that has become pinkish. Thanks.
