You guys all ruined the Ball Python Forum for everyone. Now I don't use it too much myself. But, it has now gone. That is a shame.
Why? Because KS deemed certain posts (I assume) unsuitable for that particular forum (and I repeat, I am ASSUMING here based on what I saw today!). KS don't have to keep the forum running for you. The rules and regs are plain to see. Don't like em' - tough. There's nothing you can do about it. Sure, you can all post "DEAD," and ruin the forum for every 'normal' B.P.F. user that just happenes to be passing by. If this was my site I'd have done the same. Tough sh*t if you don't like it. If KS lose money, that's their problem.
If you look at what has happened here, objectively, you will see that dozens and dozens of "DEAD" posts simply ruin the forum. 'Respectable' breeders lose respect in MY opinion. I doubt most of you will agree with this. I have always respected the fact that certain breeders don't waste time getting mixed in with certain threads. Now these forums are on the world wide web. Joe Bloggs from Town X should be able to pass by here and get some info, see some pics etc etc. But he shouldn't have to trawl through a whole load of irrelevant posts saying DEAD.
Now I don't know what the whole thing was about. Maybe if I did I would actually change my mind here. But I don't think I will.
Anyway, like I said, this is all my opinion. And, my overiding opinion here is that what has happened is a shame. And if you didn't see it coming, tough. The whole KS site could go down if they so decided. Treat these forums as a priveledge.
