walmart carries all kinds of large rubbermaid type tubs which can be used with rats and mice. It's what I use.

if you only have 3 snakes why are you looking to breed mice/rats? its probably not worth the time until you get more. but that just my opinion.

For rats go to Home Depot and get some concrete mixing tubs. They are approx 30 long by 23 by 7 deep.
For mice go to wal mat and get some cat litter pans or a Dollar General and buy some.
