***QUESTION***

Ok, I posted a couple of days ago and got no response, so I will try again. First I had said that Jak wasn't eating unless I put the food infront of him, even though he used to eat out of the bowl. Well, he's eaten from the bowl the past two nights now, so that's fine. However, he hasn't pooped today even though he ate 13 mealies yesterday. Also the past few days when he has pooped, it was much smaller than normal. Is there anything to worry about? Is this cause to call a vet? Thanks for your help.

as long as your leo is eating and pooping now, don't worry about it
do you always have a big poop after a big meal?
I know I don't lol, sometimes I eat until I'm stuffed, and the next day, barely anything.

I wouldn't recommend a vet call for small poop. If it starts coming out runny, or with undigested food consistantly, then by all means a vet visit is in order.

peace out

Thanks for putting my mind at ease. I just wasn't sure if it was possible that he was impacted and that's why he wasn't pooping or something. Only noticed cause he normally poops everyday, just before eating. But anyways, I've only had him (maybe her, can't tell yet) for a little over 2 months now, so I'm still learning a few things. Thanks for your response.

for people like yourself that care for their animals to ask and answer questions for fellow hobbyists.

just think of how many people don't even know forums like this exist and have no resources for reptile info.
keep up the good work, I'm sure you're giving it a great home
