Snake will not shed by himself!!

arroventata Nov 19, 2003 11:01 PM

Hi, I have a 3 1/2 foot long Ball Python. He's eating well, and perfectly healthy. He had a bout with intestinal worms, and got really weak. Sooo, I helped him shed once. Now--- he will not do it on his own. I soak him all the time. He justs sits around and waits for it to fall off. I don't know what to do.

The ambient cage humidity is still important despite the soakings.
I sort of have a gecko with the same problem though. Kinda wierding me out too.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
