Just wondering if this was a DxJ. Pretty sure it is like 75 jungle, but i was wondering if there is any other carpets crosses out there, such as a QxD?
Thanks

Nice it looks like a JxQ cross and yes there is DxQ croses some i have seen looks like your's.I have crosses from the early 90's that have DxQ and DxJ bred in there lines, its a shame that it's frowned upon.

You said JxQ. Im thinking you meant dxj correct? I cant tell the diffrence between a queensland and a jungle in juvi's, but then again i dont know THAT much about carpet pythons. Whats the secret.

its really hard to tell the diffrence between hatchling Jungles and Coastals. Your best bet is knowing what the parents are. If you don't sometimes pattern can give you a clue, but not always. Some people use 'scale count' to tell the diffrence, but its not reliable either. If you have a youngster that you know absolutely nothing about then waiting till they're full grown is your only choice. And then, if your lucky you might be able to decipher what it is.
