128 year old mud turtle

wbrown Nov 20, 2003 08:44 AM

I just wanted to post this picture here as I thought the readers of this forum would enjoy seeing a piece of mud turtle history. It is an authentic 128 year old print from a govt. sanctioned exploration of the Southwest United States in the late 1800's. The old scientific name Cinosternum henrici is used at the bottom of the print.
Hope you enjoyed seeing it.

I love old Natural History prints when they are well done and accurate.
