What are the Southern Californians doing with oustide inclosures now?

rudedogsurfrat Nov 20, 2003 10:08 AM

This is my first full year I'm keeping the torts outside. They are just way too big and stinky to keep inside full time. Since Leopards don't hibernate they have a house out there with a heat light and heat pad and they use it all the time. They come out more infrequently and their appetites have gone down a bit.
What are your torts doing right now???

mine are doing the same thing. The big caution is to make sure they are well hydrated. Because they have slowed down they do not take in as much water as they need. I'd suggest soaking them once or twice a week.
