Hey everyone,
I have an unrelated a pair of false water cobras and the female is an '01 and is currently almost 6 ft and weighs in at 1.5 kg. The male is an early season '02 and is just shy of 4 ft and weighs in over 500 g(about 520 last I weighed). I was curious if the size difference between snakes would cause any problems. I've tried to look for breeding info but come up shy on effects of size differences. My main concern is that she might find him a more attractive meal than mate. I keep them well fed and separate, and these snakes usually aren't very big on cannibalism, but I worry. Would the male be large enough for a mating this spring? Thanks for the help
Aaron
