Diplodactylus williamsi (RETICULATED & SPOTTED FORM)

s-holden Nov 20, 2003 11:10 AM

Does anyone know for sure or are there any scientific proof that the Diplodactylus williamsi (RETICULATED & SPOTTED FORM)actually exist in the wild of Australia? Or are these hybrids? Also is the Diplodactylus williamsi (SPOTTED FORM) the same gecko as Diplodactylus intermedius? Or is the Diplodactylus intermedius a different separate species? They both look the same with almost no differences in appearance.

Hello, i can not say anything about Diplodactylus reticulatet or spottet, i keep D. Williamsi, but not 2 forms of them. i also keep intermedius. The d. intermedius is a different form to williamsi, the difference is that williamsi has 4 rows of spines and intermedius only has 2 rows of spines and also the intermedius has a black pigmentatet tail, which is easy to to compare to wiliamsi, also intermedius gets a bit bigger. sorry for bad engl. but i am german. Hope that i could help a bit.
