Did this really happen?

The other day, I was holding my 4'8" BCI exactly 48 hours after feeding her a moderate rat after 14 days (gave her a slight bulge.) While I was holding her I felt a strange "crunch feeling" in her mid-section right where my right hand was. It was like nothing else I've ever felt. Could it be possible that her digestive acids had just burst the gas-filled rat at that moment? I realise this is a disgusting post, and I apologise to anyone who just ate dinner, but I am curious. I think I'll wait three days from now on any way to hold her after feeding.

always wait AT LEAST 3 days before handling any recently fed snake.

What's REALLY fun is how getting some exercise (aka handling) seems to get those digestive tracts working and being pooped on isn't all that uncommon either
