generally speaking, most boas will not exibit breeding behaviour this time of year. They generally breed beginning in the fall or early winter (I place mine together in September or October and leave them together until January or February - give or take). However, as an experiment, I decided to house a pair of my adult Colombian redtail boas together in the off season...just to see what would happen. My male has been observed courting the female recently, despite the fact that it is their off season. Whether it will result in offspring is yet to be seen. She may simply get tired of his advances and I'll have to separate them if there are any signs of aggression. Or he may get tired of trying if she isn't responsive. Careful observation of their behaviour is important IMO to be certain that neither becomes injured or unduely stressed. FWIW, I'll continue introducing my males in the fall as usual with the exception of this pair. I just want to see what happens with them.
