Most people only feed pinkies to gravid females, for calcium.

I'm Priest girl friend and he was asking because I am going to start breeding mice, and so it would be easier for him to get his hands on live pinkeys. He was wondering when he could start giving them to her to fatten her up seeing as how he would like to start breeding her as soon as she is old enough. She is about 5 months now.

I would wait until she is a year old or around 50grams. I feed them to me leos on occasions not only when wanting to breed. It seems to intreset them too when they are on a food strike.

My trempor albino ate his first one just last monday he is 8 month and just over 85 grams. It took him away to at it do as he seemed to not know what it was
