mattyrock Jun 01, 2003 12:33 AM

Hi....When i was away at college i never had a problem with my rocks. But ever since I came home there has been moss growing on them. The logical thing seems to be that its the water....if thats the case....should i use filtered water? I have a pretty good filter running so i dont get it. thanks for any help

I'm assuming that you mean that algae is growing on your rocks. If that is the case then you are doing something right. A little algae growing of the rocks mean that your lighting and water temp and basking temp are at good levels.
