tail regeneration?

4everherpn Nov 21, 2003 02:55 AM

Is permanent tail loss a characteristic shared in all Rhacs? I am just curious. I've heard that tails don't regenerate on R. ciliatus.

And they do so rather well. A regenerated tail on a gargoyle looks very close to normal. You really need to examine it closely to tell. Leachies also regenerate rather well. You can check in the new rhac book but I think sarasinorum also regenerate making cresties and chahoua (if I remember correctly) the minority in that aspect. It seems that the more "prehensile" the tail, the less likely regeneration (at least for rhacs).

John
