HELP! FBT dying and I don't know why.

chadoll16 Nov 21, 2003 08:41 AM

Please help. I have a 20 galloon tank (half land/half water). I have 10 FBT in there. I've had them for 2 years and everything's beeen. In the past two weeks, 5 have passed away. Each time one does, I clean out the tank completely. Today, another one passed away and it seemed to half like a bubble coming out of its mouth. It seems like its all my yellow bellies that are dying. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Well you could seperate them and try to prevent whatever illness/disease/parasite from spreading anymore.

First off you have too many firebellies for that size tank. If their toxins build in the water then It can kill them. They should have about 8-10 gallons of tank space each!!! It could also be that your food source is contaminated somehow. Hopefully this was helpfull to you and your frogs!
