in my opinion just a fancy name for a normal that people use to try and get more money for their normals. I dont think it is genetic and in all the leos i have seen it just fades with age.

they look normal but do really have a circle on their back that doesnt fade with age.

i wouldnt spend any extra money on a leo because it has a little circle on its back. this happens so much in ball pythons(naming normals things that they arent) and i just hope it doesnt start happening to leos. IT IS A NORMAL so i dont understand why people try to play them off as something else.

Almost all "circle backs" fade with age and just look like a normal gecko. I notice some breeders naming their geckos morphs that they aren't. I really notice this with the carrottail gene. Many people claim their geckos to be carrottail when they are just normal geckos with spots or flashes with orange.
