Breeding Question.

Turtlegirl Nov 21, 2003 12:29 PM

Hi

Do Corn snakes need to be burmated over the winter to sucessfullu breed and produce fertile eggs?
If so, how long should they be burmated for, and at what tempatures?

Thanks!

Corn snakes do not NEED to be brumated to persuade them to breed. Think of it as icing on a cake. You don't have to have icing to make it a cake, but (IMHO) it's a better cake with icing.

Skim through the past month or so of posts, and you will find a number about brumation.
