good first venomous...

what are a few good first venomous snakes? i probably wont be getting any anytime soon. (im only 15 and i dont think my mom would be to happy bout it) but id still like to know. and this may be a really stupid question...do you people hold these snakes?

mean coachwhip,racer, or something of that caliber, practice with him in the middle of the day after he has been basking in his cage for awhile. That should give you some handling experience with snakes that bite. As for when you get into venomous, I would say a copperhead or maybe a northern pacific rattler(or a rattler of that type,that are small, not overly aggressive,and have a relatively short strike range).
