my blodd has been shedding for about 2 weeks now...maybe a lil less. anyways he's inside a rubbermaid container and the humidity is about 90%. the problem is the bottom of him is fine...its comeing off and lose...but the top of him dosent seem to be ready to come off. his face is still cloudy...why is it that his bottom scales are already comeing off. is there any way to make the top of his body more humid or something like that. thx for the responces

Get a rubbermaid, fill it up with luke warm water, enough that its largest area of girth can be fully submerged but low enough that it doesn't have to work hard at keeping its head up and out of the water.
Throw a bunched up towel on one end of the rubbermaid, preferably covering most of the body of the snake, excluding the head. They will usually find security underneath that towel while soaking. And it will help get the shed off. Leave it in there for 5 hours (make sure theres air holes in the rubbermaid!!!!)
Too many times, ppl bother the snake with all sorts of techniques, do yourself a favor and dont soak it for 20 minutes and then try and peal it off.
there swamp snakes. Keep it in there for the 5 hours. go get some lunch, watch a movie, come back and your snake will shed-free.

things to remember are air holes, make sure that lid is tightly locked if you plan to go watch a movie , and keep the rubbermaid somewhere warm.
