Blazing Banana Blizzards?

tc_legacy Nov 21, 2003 03:35 PM

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I've come across several breeders online who are working with blazing blizzards but what about the blazing banana blizzard? Not many people seem to be working with that morph... Any ideas why? Is it simply not as popular as the blazing blizzard?? Has the blazing banana blizzard even been produced yet? Just wondering.

Are you talking about an actual patternless blizzard?
Or just a plain ol' high yellow blizzard?

I'm sure the high yellow blizzards will be worked itno the blazing eventually.

But as far as the actual patternless blizzard...I've only seen one picture so far. Gorgeous animal. Definetly one of a kind.

Keep in mind now that banana blizzards were found to have no patternless origins after all. That was a mistake on Prehistoric Pet's part. They are simply high yellow blizzards.

Now the patternless X albino X blizzard... that'll be a doozy since the albino X blizzard cross is so hard to match up.Probably won't see one of those for a couple more years... O_o
I could be wrong tho =3

Well, there are quite a few banana blizzards in the world; they are just not very popular, and not easily distinguished from high yellow blizzards, so not many people want them.

But it always turns out this way
Here I am with my hand

He took his sister from his head
And then painted her on the sheets
And then rolled her up in grass and trees
And they kissed 'till they were dead

This ain't no holiday
But it always turns out this way

As in hatched out with the patternless 'blotches' like Kelli's?
I would love to have one of those... ).)

Yup, blotches and all. I've seen them for sale fore about $100, so most people can afford them.

So gimme the genetics here... A TRUE banana blizzard (not hi-yellow blizzard)..does that have blizzard only genes or patternless/blizzard genes?
