My first question is have you ever successfully kept dart frogs? To the begginer there tiny size and food requirements can be challenging, even with one of the larger tincs, let alone a pumilio that will never grow larger than an inch, some never growing larger than a 1/2 an inch. And they are quite expensive with the cheaper bastimentos form going for 125 dollars and they usually have a three month waiting list. My suggestion is start with a larger cheaper frog, like leucomelas or auratus. And read all you can about dartfrogs. Kyle1745 has a good links page, one of the best pages is probably www.doylesdartden.com . Make sure to start fruit fly cultures long before you get any frogs so you can get the hang of it. What I did was start of with leucomelas, then I got some auratus, and then I finally got my thumbnails, the imitators and the vents. Even with the previous experience with larger frogs I was still a little apprehensive about getting small frogs, but the previous experience helped me alot. I got the hang of culturing fruitflies, so I always had a steady flow of fruitflies. Also read all the post in the arrow frog forum, they have alot of good posts. But theses frogs are addicting, as many other people will probably say. I started a year ago and look at my list of frogs, and by the ned of christmas there will be another 10 or so.
