What Phase is this Cornsake?

leosnsurpents Nov 21, 2003 05:53 PM

I found this Cornsnake out side my apartment a while back and was wondering what phase she is? She looks like an Okeetee, but dosen't have black bands, it more of a albino color, but all the albino Okeetee's I have seen dont look like her! Is she an Okeetee, and the bands darken as she gets older? I need help knowing!!!

It is impossible to tell from your photo. Can you post a clearer one? One that is in focus might help.

It looks somewhat like a normal juvenile cornsnake from what I can tell. (Although I can't even be sure it is a cornsnake from your photo - where did you find it?)

Most of the "phases" are captive bred lineages that don't occur in the wild. So if you caught this cornsnake outside, it is more than likely just a normal cornsnake.

Furthermore, even some of the "phases" of cornsnakes look identical as juveniles and you can't tell them apart until they are larger.

unless your apartment is in the okeetee hunt club or it's someones lost pet it wouldn't be an okeetee. try to post a clearer pic and we would probably be able to help a little beter.
