I am looking to purchase a Dumerils Boa from a show. I've been researching these awesome boids but would like to hear from you experts out there about size, temperament, etc.

Certainly not a expert, but I've had mine for 9 months now. She was about 5 month old when I got her and never once has she tried to bite or show any form of aggressive behavior. Very slow, deliberate moving animal that stops and ponders her surroundings as she travels around the room (when I take her out of her enclosure). Mines a year old now and is about 30 inches long. She'll probably get to be 6-7 feet when full grown (though some female grow longer)
Extremely good eater and as a first boa, I don't think you can go wrong.
