My map turtle's shell is getting dry when out of water and starts to peel and crack. What kind of problem is this?Can i do something to stop this?I dont want my turtle to die plz help me.

Do not worry your turtle is just shedding.

Not to cause a panic, but shell lifting can either be just shedding or something serious such as a shell infection.

Is he still active and eating? Do you have any pictures you can post up? Or give us more details on how they look? Thanks.
