well i have run all my resources dry and have to buy a tank at retail price.... what does everyone pay (on average) for a 75 gallon tank. i have shopped around and am able to get one ordered and shipped to the pet store for 117 dollars and then another 85 dollars for a knockdown stand. Does that sound about right. i have never bought a big tank before (usually made my own or got them for next to nothing) so i have no clue as to what they would cost.

that's about what I paid for my 75gallon breeder with sliding front glass doors (VERY nice feature if you can find one in your area).

instead of buying the stand, look into banquet tables instead or the resin tables with folding legs. These tend to be alot cheaper than the cheap metal stands made for aquariums. I paid about $40 for a 60"x30" banquet table for my large beardie cage (5'x2'x2').
