They freak me out if you ask me. They are beautiful snakes, though I might as well get a vipor because I ain't sticking my hand in a cage full of emerald boas. Every show I go to, they always wearing gloves when handling them. What is your experience with them?

Those are not emeralds... they are green tree pythons!

Ok, i see now. i just thought it was a emerald boa since we are in a boa forum. my mistake though. But anyway, has anyone ever had any experience with these snakes?

I'm sure there are plenty out there, bit I haven't come accross any. Take a look at this picture, does this look like a man eating snake ? I do have a couple that bite first and ask questions later, but that are just used to being fed and once they realize you are not feeding them they are just as relaxed as the others. Chondros really get a bad rap, but are really very enjoyable to work with.
