Have you guys noticed spiders being particularly head shy? Mine sure is. Enjoy, don.

in head shy snakes and in particular expensive ones. Some call me the Snake Whisperer. I get them real close and say, "Don doesn't love you. Come to my house and meet some of my girls".

Don could you give me a call and let me relay that message to that handsome boy.

Lookin' good!

that doesn't look like any Spider I've seen. Is that a straight up Spider & if so, who let that one slip through their fingers?

gailT Nov 22, 2003 05:31 PM

and I have seen some with very little white up the sides, but I thought maybe it was the picture.....I would like to see a face shot.....the spiders have a special face.....it is still a lovely animal, but I wonder why some people assume it's a boy.....

Don...any headshots....

Thanks for the nice words everyone. He is a beaut. Gail, no I did not breed him(I wish) I imported him out of the USA. I just hope he did not give up some "studness" for looks!

the reason I asked if you bred him was because I was curious as to what the normal/? looked like that was bred to the Spider to produce him.....I am curious as to why there is no white up the sides and it looks as though there is very little white on the belly area....I have seen some with very little white up the sides, but there usually is some on the belly area.......I think he is beautiful and I'm curious as to what the other parent was that produced him....or what the Spider looked like that produced him.....he has a very cute Spider head.....and he looks like he has a good appetite....I'm sure you have some cute girls that he will find attractive

Best of luck,

gail

p.s. You have some of my favorite animals....Angolan Pythons and Bredl Pythons....I had to look at their pictures while at your site....very nice....
