pinkie mice..

hey
i hae dcided on feeding my breerd females a pinky every 2 week and my males 1 a month ..there is oly one pet store around here and they dont sell pinks. i dont want a 100 of pinkys because it iwill take me a long time to use themm..will dragons eat thawed out ones??also does any one no of a place that ships frozen pinkys in low quanities?? thanks

There really isn't any need to feed dragons pinky mice. Some breeders feed them to their females who recently laid eggs or give them to dragons who lost alot of weight due to illness. Other than that, a proper diet of greens and crickets is all dragons need.

I do know a few areas taht sell pinkies individually or in small numbers, but they are in Canada, so I don't think that would help you much. You could check the list of feeder suppliers on the kingsnake.com main page and contact them via email to see if they will ship smaller lots.

Yep, as far as I know, the general opinion is that beardies should not be fed pinkies. It doesn't do your beardie any good, and it might even cause problems, with digestion and parasites... I would stay away from them if I were you.
