neglect?

cmack Nov 22, 2003 01:04 PM

Hey there, I know of an iguana that is always mean! he wips his tail at anybody who puts their hand in the cage. He does not have light and not much to do in the home. Is his anger from neglect? I am thinking about adopting him for next summer. Any advise!

Scott.

I have two iguanas, one that is a total doll and one that is as nasty as can be! My little guy (the nasty one) will whip if you LOOK at him in his cage, never mind open the door. He will bite without hesitation and will claw you to kingdom come! My big guy (the doll) is so sweet sugar can't compete. You can doing ANYTHING to him or with him. He's just that sweet. It all depends on the Igs personality. You ig might just be a nasty SOB or he couldd be angry about His treatment. Or maybe his owners never took the time to work with him. He might be fine with some taming work. Ya never know till ya try.
