Arthur has been trying to shed since August. Her nose shed a while back and her front feet finally went a week or two ago. Now her whole face and back is a HORRID sickly shade of grey. It doesn't have the dry clouded look I expect - it looks almost swampy and murky. Her tail and feet look normal. I just wanted to ask if this is a normal appearance before a large area sheds, since she has only done little flakes so far.
Sorry the photo isn't very good - the camera doesn't do close-ups very well and the light was mediocre at best. But you can see the difference between her feet and tail and her back. What you can't see is the gross color of it, but I tried.
And this is one TICKED OFF lizard, too. She hissed at me twice. Pretty fierce for such a small thing.
