Best substrate for WTF?

daredevil Nov 22, 2003 03:33 PM

What's the best substrate for a WTF cage with a false bottom?
I'm looking forward to getting a cage together with plenty of live plants. Any suggestions of plants would be helpful.

bedabeast, coco brick, peat dirt, eco earth etc, these are all compressed and dryed natural and chemical free dirt good for top layer substrate.

aspidistra, pothos, sanseveria, monstera, bird nest fern, some species of brom's and ferns. thats all i can really think of now, but there are heaps more.

I use bedabeast now... It was really messy at first (until they trampled it down a bit) but now it is great and it looks good too. I used to use chemical free topsoil, but I like the bedabeast better...
