Does this sound like normal eating habits for my beardie?...

I've been worried about him not eating his greens and veggies, but I was wondering if maybe that instinct would come in once he was 2 years old (he's about 1 1/2 right now)? I got him to eat some today by basically just holding it in front of his mouth until he tested it with his tongue, and then when he licked his lips I gently eased the piece of greens into his mouth. He ate it but wouldn't eat anymore, or even look at them. I don't think he likes them, how am I supposed to get him to eat them?

I'm looking for any tips or tricks you have. I want to try putting in some waxworms once I can buy some, but I want to know how else I can get him to eat the greens, especially if he doesn't like them. What will happen if he continues to eat vegetables only on rare occasions (like once or twice a week, and then it's usually just a piece of carrot or a piece of greens or something).

Try puting something that he really likes into the salad so that he has to eat some to get to it. Might also try mixing in some fruit with it at first to make it seem like a treat.
