Hey all,

You guys have some great racks and designs...has anyone ever done a whole room? I'm thinking about doing a 7 x 7 room in my garage. What considerations would you have with insulating, power, heat, racks, etc.???

Any pics or suggestions?

Hello

I would have enough outlets wired in that you have atleast 4 plug inlets available in each corner ( 2 on each wall in each corner) so you can have all of your equipment plugged in and so you can rearrange. I also would paint the walls and ceiling with a latex paint to help with ease of cleaning and to help prevent absorption of humidity and odors in the sheetrock/walls.

Also if you have the ability to run plumbing to the room I would put a small sink basin in the room so you can rinse out water dishes and etc without having to take them all to another room of the house.

I had the sink idea already, but I wasn't sure if that was kooky.... the rest is great. How should I heat the sucker, I'm thinking ceramic....

I biult a 8x12 room in my garage and all I can say is insulate well. It helps hold heat in and keeps it cool in the summer.I aslo added a 6 circuit pony panel to run all the electrical.Email me and i can send you pics
