Picture of the imported baby that was paralyzed

CheriS Nov 22, 2003 08:20 PM

Well, I promised a picture of her, after several days totally paralyzed and weeks back legs paralyzed, here she is with what we believe is fully recovered.

This baby was just amazing in her fight to continue to keep up with her siblings. We think she was impacted from too large a cricket, we saw the cricket when they were shook out to them, but by the time I got my hands empty to get it out, someone had ate it. A short time later she was paralyzed in the back legs, pulling herself with her front legs. A few days later all four legs were paralyzed and we saw a bump on her spine area.

She slowly has regained the use of all legs to the point she appears normal now. Through all this, even when she could only move her head, she continued to eat really well, even if we had to hand feed her with a syringe, now she runs with the other chasing crickets.... She just is an amazing and strong baby.

Wow!! Look at that little fighter go. What a strong dragon she is, and boy she has come such a long way. It's amazing how she kept on eating even though having to pull herself around with her front legs to chase them. You did a great job getting her back to health, and she looks happy as can be chasing those crickets now.

from Germany along with some others. She is no color morph or phase as she is not a line bred dragons. She is just a plain ole bearded dragon.
