I was reading in the ball python forum (at least i think that was it), where people were soaking their pythons in Gatorade. Has anyone ever done this? I had asked a reptile vet earlier this year about giving boas gatorade for rehydration and he said it was ok but it would not be good for my snakes specific health problem. I think he said something about the sugar in it.

there was scammer a while back that soaked his ball pythons in red gatorade and tride to sell them as a morph. someone made a joke about it saying you could do it to help shed or rehydrate or something. well anyway someone took it seriosuly and passed on the info... not to say it wouldnt work to rehydrate your snake and maybe even help it shed. it might. but ya thats how that started.
