When a bearded dragon dies of old age?

PhunkeyPhish Jun 01, 2003 09:29 AM

I have a bearded dragon which Ive had now for about 7 or 8 years, and was not a hatchling when i bought him, it was before bearded dragons were really popular as pets and so he was not a baby like they sell now. Anyways... he hasnt been eating for a while now, and last week i force fed him about 6 crickets or so, but then after that he still wouldnt eat on his own, and now he only allows me to force feed him maybe 1 cricket a day, today i fed him one, and the other one he just let sit in his mouth... and i actually think he may be dead right now. I just wanted to know if this is usually how things die when they are just too old, or did mine die for some otehr reason? Thanks

Sounds like you've done well if he's been alive that long. I hope he hasn't died.
