Or frog fish? Which is it, as I want to feed my bullfrog fish but not sure if it's advisable or not?

I'm running out of food resources where I'm living. No crickets here, or meal worms, or night crawlers. Can only feed feeder gold fish as another staple, and perhaps whatever else I can find? Is fish as a food source for bullfrogs okay, be it live or thawed-out-frozen?

Feeder goldfish are a bad idea. Fish as a whole are not the best food source. Too many parasites, unclean conditions ect. If you caught some baitfish, then you could maybe use them (only after frozen for a period to ensure parasites were killed), but it is still not really advisable.

I think your best, and safest bet, would be to raise your own cockroaches. They are ridiculously easy to breed. Look on the insect forums at the top of the page for more info.

In addition to raising your own cockroaches (madagascar cockroaches are best because they move slowly), you can simply put some meat in a jar and put it outside and get all the fly larvae you want. Frogs will indeed eat flies in all stages of life.
