Simply Amazing!

Brand new to GTP ownership. This week received a yearling biak and a 2003 aru. Both are screaming yellow. Both ate last night!
My question is ... the biak is very nippy (as I hear most are). Can they be calmed down with a little handling or are they just born to bite? The aru is very calm but I hear that I should not handle her until she's a year old or so. These guys are very cool and hopefully they continue to eat and do well. Aru supposedly is cb but biak is farmed.
Wish me luck
Thanks and we'll be talking.

Biaks are pronen to being a little more nippy then majority of Arus.....But it may calm down a little when its had time to climatise and settle in to its new enclouser,Its always a bad idea to handel neonates or young chondros becouse of easily damaging them so hand taming is really off the menu for the moment but like i say give it time it may well calm down a bit!
Climatising them to there new enclouser is really important now as you must keep stress to a really minimuim,So try not to disturb them too much, keep them in a low traffic room.Give them a while before attempting to feed them and continue to monitior that the humidty and temps are adiquate......Good Luck. Its a Great feeling to get your first green gods..
