This looks an awful lot like the white sided black rats, so why wouldnt this be called a white sided everglades?? Just curious.

It has become "traditional" or "fashionable" to name the different morphs that are being produced among captive stock.
For the whitesided 'Glades rats, that name is "Ghost."
For the whitesided black rats, that name is "Licorice-stick."
