Lost Gecko

I have a yellow gecko which has gotten out of my tank. I have unsuccesfully looked for him for a couple of days now is there some way to attract him out into the open.

plug in a hot rock in a dark area like a partially opened cabinet.My local pet shop has a golden gecko loose and you usually find him on top of the cash register charger they have undernieth the counter.hope this helps
