Do I need to brumate my corns before I breed them?
Thanks a ton!

Well, from everything I have read in books and from a couple of years of hanging out on the forums I would say "no" you don't neccesarily have to brumate your corns in order for them to breed.
BUT...at the same time these same sources all seem to agree that it is probably better to brumate breeders. It would seem that the cool down allows the snakes time to form sperm or eggs and it also seems to be the general concensus that brumation helps to assure larger and healthier clutches.
I am actually going to try a little experiment this season just to see what happens.
I have two pairs of snakes I plan on breeding. The rest aren't old or large enough yet.
A pair of creamsicles and a Snow female and ghost male.
I have just put my creams in a refrigerator (maintaining 50 degrees F.) to brumate them. They went in Friday night after two weeks of running the 'frig to make sure it would maintain temps and the other pair will NOT be brumated.
When I take the creams out of brumation in early February, get them feeding, wait for that initial shed and put them together I will put the snow and ghost together at the same time and see how it goes.
The main pairing I am striving for is the creams so if the ghost/snow pairing doesn't work I don't mind waiting another season.
